Div 1 Week 6 – Windsor – 14 March

The division bowled 3 pins over average at Windsor with 39 200 games and 12 600 games. The high game for the week and the season went to Alan Wilson with 290, followed by Paul Katar 279, Alex Sole 269, Michael Brown 248, Chris Arthur 241, Alex again 238, Shane Bond and Chris Hampshire 236, reserve Michael Burrows 234 and Shane again 232. The series went to Alex 699, followed by Shane 668, Paul 667, Michael 645, Shane Brown and Chris Hampshire 639, Alan 628 and Josh Vanderkolk 617. The ladies hig h game went to Sarah Heath 258, followed by Monique Rusin 237, Trudy Gould 216, Meg Abdilla 204, Kayleen Watts 199 and Amy Brown 197. The series went to Sarah 637, Monique 615, Trudy 580, Amy 574, Meg 543, Kayleen 534 and Janelle Crass 528.

Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits increased their lead to 12 points winning 14-5 over 4th place Wetherill Park Phoenix pushing them down to 7th while Tenpin City Tomahawks lost 12-7 to Fairfield Fireballs. Campbelltown Cougars in 3rd made up some ground on 2nd spot winning 11½ - 7½ while Bateau Bay Reaper Crew moved from 7th to 4th scoring 15 points. The other big winner on the day was Gosford Rev Heads scoring 1 on the bye. High game went to Bandits 1079, Fireballs 1041, Tomahawks 1024, Shelley Rogues 1015 and Reaper Crew on 1000. The series went to Bandits 2942, Reaper Crew 2903 and Windsor Pirates 2847.

Div 2 Week 7 – Tenpin City – 14 March

The division bowled 4 pins over average at Tenpin City with 43 200 games and 12 600 series. The high game and new high for the year went to Ray Dillon 276 followed by Chris Greaves 256, Manuel Bugay 254, Graeme Brown 246 and Ray Vandine and Leon Keith 245. The series and also a new high for the year also went to Ray Dillon with 722, followed by Manuel 679, Chris and Leon 676, Graeme 665, John Raftry 630, Steve Fairbairn 629 and Ray Vandine 627. The ladies high game went to Evelyn O’Donnell 206, followed by Rebeccanne Farr 204, Rose Lucas 201, Merle Turner 197, Maria Wrublewski 190, Melissa Webb 188 and Maria again and Madison McCooey 187. The series went to Rose 561, just ahead of Maria 560Evelyn 557, Melissa 528, Madison 517 and Nicky Foster 500.

Leaders Western Warriors won 12-7 and extended their lead to 6½ points as 2nd place Lidcombe Looneys lost 12-7 to Windsor Rockets and dropped to equal 3rd. Tenpin Terriers won a close game 10-9 against 5th place Tenpin City Bandits and moved up to 2nd spot. Campbelltown City Stingers scored 15 points and moved up 4 places to share 3rd spot with Looneys. Bowlarama Alley Catz won 11-8 but dropped to 5th place as the field spread out a little from last week’s grouping. The high game went to Alley Catz 1005 with Stingers 979 and Rockets 952. The series went to Alley Catz with a season high of 2825, Stingers 2789 and Wetherill Park Piranhas 2713.

Div 3 Week 7 – South Strathfield – 14 March

The division bowled 2 pins under average with 16 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Daniel Prince 245, followed by Phil Spender 227, Bob Quinn 223, Matt Jeffress 221, Matt Smith 220, William Scheers 214, Phil again 211 and Bradie Pirie 211. The series went to Bob 634 followed by Matt Smith 626, Phil 607, Daniel 597, Bradie 565, Nick Frost 563, Mick Young 555, Ecky Liem 554 and William Scheers 550. The ladies high game went to Marianne Keith 200, followed by Ros Kirkland 199, Debbie van der Meer 191, Marianne again 187, Debbie again 179, reserve Ancita Levy 177 with Angela Francis on the same score, and reserve Tracy Hodgson 176. The series went to Debbie 543, followed by Marianne 518, Ancita 505, Angela 493, Maxie Jones 482, Tracy 480 and Ros 467.

Leaders Strathfield Saints extended their lead to 12 points with 15½ points this week while Wetherill Park All Stars lost a close game 10-9 to 4th place Campbelltown City Chiefs and dropped to 3rd while Wetherill Park Rangers moved into 2nd spot with 11½ points. The other big winners were Lidcombe Roaring Tigers with 16 points and Mittagong Highlanders with 14½. The high game went to All Stars 925, Saints 922 and Chiefs 918. The series went to Chiefs 2659, All Stars 2629 and Saints 2550.
