Div 1 Week 24 – Tenpin City – 22 Aug

The division bowled 5½ pins over average with 52 200 games and 18 600 series. The high game went to Doug Lenton 264, Alan Shephard 257, Reece Hines and Peter Daly 255, Shane Bond and Kristain Asquith 248, reserve Jordan Dinham and Andrew Parker 247, Alex Sole 244 and Paul Katar 243. The series went to Shane 678, Paul 673, Jordan 662, Alan 659, Kristain 650, Reece 644, Alex 638 and Daniel Webb 627. The ladies high game went to Kayleen Watts 253, Sarah Heath 228, Monique Rusin 224, Sarah again 223, Amy Brown 216, reserve Renee Pepper 206, Sarah again 204, Renee again 203 and Emily Johnston 200. The series went to Sarah 655, Kayleen 623, Monique 593, Amy 570, Renee 556, Jodie Terry 524, Emily 522, Meg Abdilla 517 and Janice Edwards 505.

As it was the posit ional round, each team played the team immediately next to them in the table. Leaders Tenpin City Tomahawks lost 6-13 to Wetherill Park Bandits and also lost the lead to them trailing now by 3 points. Lidcombe Lightning lost 11-8 to Campbelltown Cougars and also lost their position dropping to 4th spot as the Cougars climbed to 3rd. 5th place Bateau Bay Reaper Crew fared no better losing 12-7 to Fairfield Fireballs who also climbed above their opponents in the ladder. The other two matches went to the team in above with Windsor Pirates winning 13-6 and Mittagong Warriors won 10-9 as Gosford Rev Heads scored 15½ on the bye. The high game went to Bandits 1130, followed by Tomahawks 1033 and 1020, Cougars scored 1024, Fireballs 1010 and Reaper Crew 1005.

Div 2 Week 27 – South Strathfield – 22 Aug

The division bowled 6 pins under average at Strathfield with 20 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Chris Bedwell 253, Les Dunn 239, John Raftry 234, David Stenstra 223, reserve Jonathan King 219, reserve Jason Lindsay 215 and Chris Greaves and Jonathan again 214. The series went to Chris 638, Les 616, Jason 603, John 598, Ray Dillon 596, Garry Graham 592, Howie Goss and Jonathan 589 and David 575. The ladies high game went to Nicky Foster 217, followed by Maria Wrublewski 201, Kay Ginger 191, Annette Simmonds 188, reserve Ellen Baker and Lisa Love 187, Rebeccanne Farr 183 and Merle Turner 179. The series went to Maria 546, Nicky 530, Ellen 518, Rebeccanne 511, Kay 507, Lisa 506, Annette 481 and Madison McCooey 473.

Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz extended their lead to 23½ points winning 14-5 while Bowlarama Hotshots in 2nd spot won 12-7. Campbelltown City Stingers inched 1 point closer to Hotshots winning 13-6 over 4th place Campbelltown City Alleygators pushing them down to 5th spot on win percentage as Western Warriors won 11-8 to take 4th. On an emotional day, Wetherill Park Piranhas rose above their tragedy a nd won with 13½ points and Windsor Wizards won 13-6. The high game went to Hotshots 982, Stingers 935 and Alley Catz 892. The series went to Hotshots 2787, Stingers 2651 and Alley Catz 2607.

Div 3 Week 27 – Wetherill Park – 22 Aug

The division bowled 9 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 25 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Brady Pirie 255, Nick Frost 244, Matthew Jeffress 237, Paul Woodberry 236, Mark Ellison 235, Matt Burchell 234, Brady again 233, Bob Quinn and Greg Schroeder 226, Calvin Thompson 225 and Nicholas Liem 224. The series went to Brady 668, Mark 659, Nick 620, Bob 616, Greg 595, Matthew 585, reserve Robert Vamvas 578, Matt 571, Chris Prince 569 and Paul 568. The ladies high game went to Angela Francis 227, Lorraine Hazelwood 199, Tina Sainsbury 197, Marianne Keith 191, reserve Tracy Hodgson 185 and Ancita Levy 178 and 174. Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs won 16-3 against 4th place Wetherill Park Rangers while Wetherill Park All Stars in 2nd place drew with Strathfield Dragons, extending the Chiefs lead to 29 points. Strathfield Saints remained in 3rd spot on win percentage as their match was deferred while Lidcombe Grimreapers in in 5th scored 14. The biggest win went to Liverpool Lions who scored 18 points but remained in 8th on win percentage. The high game went to Chiefs 981, Windsor Wags 921 and Rangers 920. The series went to Chiefs 2798, followed by All Stars 2633 and Dragons 2628.
