Div 1 Week 25 – Gosford Bowl – 29 August

The division bowled 6 pins under average at Gosford with 34 200 games and 10 600 series. The h igh game went to Kristain Asquith 277, Brad Searle 267, Stave Hawes 256, Kim Morris 245, Chris Gervacio 242, Reece Hines 240 and Alan Shephard 235. The series went to Kristain 703, followed by Steve 661, Brad 659, Chris 632, Alex Sole 625, Kim 607, reserve James Sitters 605 and Darryl Burton 604. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 268, followed by Meg Abdilla 226, Sarah and Meg again with 202 each, Trudy Gould 194 and 186, Sarah again with Monique Rusin, Meg again, and Janelle Crass all on 180, Sandra Stanshall with Monique again 178 and Michelle Simmonds and Jodie Terry 176. The series went to Sarah 650, Meg 608, Trudy 540, Janelle 516, Monique 515, Jodie 501, Sandra 476, Kayleen 474 and Annette Bateup 472.

Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits scored 8 on the bye, but increased their lead to 8 points as Tenpin City Tomahawks lost 16-3 to Windsor Pirates. 3rd place Campbelltown Cougars won 12½ - 6½ and 4th place Lidcombe Lightning 11-8. Bateau Bay Reaper Crew won 14-5 and Wetherill Park Phoenix won 11-8. The high game went to Reaper Crew 1080, Bandits 1038 and Lightning 1014. The series went to Reaper Crew 2934, Bandits 2758 and Lightning 2747.

Div 2 Week 28 – Wetherill Park – 29 August

The division bowled 4 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 41 200 games and 12 600 series. The high game went to reserve Richard Palma with 280, reserve Michael Burrows 268, Michael Campbell 246, reserve Jason Lindsay 243, Michael Pipe 242, Graeme Pulbrook and Chris Greaves 233, Howard Goss 230 and Wolf Miller 226. Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz lost 14-5 to 5th place Campbelltown City Alleygators while Bowlarama Hotshots cut the lead to 15 points scoring 13½ points. Campbelltown City Stingers in 3rd place won 12-7 while 4th place Western Warriors lost 10-9 to Strathfield Tigers and dropped to 5th place. The high game went to Tenpin City Terriers 1019, followed by Stingers 1008 and Hotshots 972. The series went to Stingers 2855, Alleygators 2796 and Piranhas 2729.

Div 3 Week 2 – Strathfield Superbowl – 29 August

The division bowled 1 pin over average at Strathfield with 17 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Bob Quinn 267, followed by Matt Burchell 234, Robert Kelly 233, Mark Ellison 221, Brady Pirie 212, William Scheers and Wayne Giles 211 and Daniel Prince and Nick Frost 209. The series went to Bob 637, Daniel 614, Brady 609, Robert 598, Matt 589, William 567, Robert Ciacciarelli and Nick 561 and Mark Goggin 555. The ladies high game went to Lorraine Hazelwood with 221, followed by Marianne Keith 195, Ros Shepherd 193, Angela Francis 185, 181 and 180, with reserve Tracy Hodgson on 182, Janine Hendry 177 and Ros Kirkland with a pair of 174’s. The series went to Angela 546, Lorraine 532, Ros Kirkland 500, Marianne 496, Janine 484, Debbie van der Meer 481, Ros Shepherd 479, Tracy 463, Pam Russell 457 and Jane Austin 456.

Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs won 17-2 but did not increase their lead as Wetherill Park All Stars matched this score against 4th place Wetherill Park Rangers so the gap remains at 29 points. 3rd place Strathfield Saints won 12-7 against Windsor Wags in the pre-bowled match played earlier in the month. Lidcombe Grimreapers in 5th spot scored 15 and moved within 4 points of Rangers while Bateau Bay Buddhas scored 16, Liverpool Lions 14 and Strathfield Dragons 12 to round off the results. The high game went to Lions 939, ju st ahead of Chiefs 938 and All Stars 904. The series went to Chiefs 2787, All Stars 2655 and Lions 2580.
