Div 1 Week 31- Windsor – 24 October

The division bowled just over average at Windsor with 45 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game went to Alex Sole 259, followed by reserve Darren Topolski 257, Chris Gervacio 248, Michael Brown 246, Paul Katar 245, Kristain Asquith 243, Phil Meurant 236, Kristain again 231 and Reece Hines 229. The series went to Chris 685, Darren 664, Alex 662, Rodney Kitley 648, Paul 646, Michael 636, Reece 620, Kristain 615, Shane Bond 610 and Greg Farraway 595. The ladies high game went to Amy Brown 221, Kayleen Watts 208, Meg Abdilla 195, Janelle Crass 194, Trudy Gould 189 & 188, Meg and Amy again 184 and Jodie Terry, Michelle Simmonds and Sindy Searle 183. Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits won 15 – 4 and lead 2nd place Tenpin City Tomahawks by 1½ points with a game in hand after a four player Tomahawks lost 11-8 to Wetherill Park Phoenix. 3rd place Lidcombe Lightning won 11-8 against 4th place Campbelltown Cougars while Bateau Bay Reaper Crew scored 16 points on the bye to move into 4th place on win percentage. Windsor Pirates won 14-5 and Fairfield Fireballs 11-8 to close out the round. The high game went to Bandits 1049, Lightning 1045, Reaper Crew 1028 and Bandits again 1017. The series went to Bandits 3015, Reaper Crew 2957 and Lightning 2774.

Div 2 Week 35 – Wetherill Park – 24 October

The division bowled 7 ½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 52 200 games and 14 600 series. The high game went to Joseph Otera 255 followed by reserve Matt W Smith with a pair of 248’s, Jared Kirkland 247, Brad Bruen 246, Matt P Smith 244, David Stenstra 239, Jared again 238, Ray Dillon 235, Ray Vandine 234, George Antaky and Dave Anderson 231 and John Pilcher 230. The series went to Matt W with 705, Jared 690, Ray Dillon 679, Matt P 677, Ray Vandine 668, George 664, David 646, Brad 643, Wolf 614 and reserve Joe Wrublewski 613. The ladies high game went to Nicky Foster 222, followed by Louise Morgan 208, Leonie Ince 200, Evelyn O’Donnell 191, Annette Simmonds 189, Christine Pulbrook 188, Madison McCooey and Christine again 183, Melissa Webb 182and Kay Ginger with 180 and 178. Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz had their lead cut to 1 points winning a close game 10½ - 8½ while Bowlarama Hotshots scored 11½. 3rd place Campbelltown City Stingers lost 11-8 to Lidcombe Looneys but hung on to 3rd by ½ point as Campbelltown City Alleygators scored 14. Upset of the round was Windsor Rockets winning 14 – 5 over 6th place Western Warriors while other winners were Strathfield Superchargers 13 and Gosford Grenades 10. The high game went to Alleygators 1014, followed by Superchargers 988 and Windsor Wizards 969. The series went to Alleygators 2935, Rockets 2863 and Superchargers 2813.

Div 3 Week 35 – Strathfield Superbowl – 24 October

The division bowled 4 pins under average at Strathfield with 16 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Bob Quinn setting a new high for the year of 279, followed by Bruce Worrell 227, Ray Hann 225, Brady Pirie 223, Ricky Andrews 218, Bruce again 217, Daniel Prince 215, Nick Frost 214 and Nathan Bracey and Les Kirkland 210. The series went to Bob 647, Bruce 633, Daniel 567, Nick 565, Mark Goggin 558, Ricky 5 50, Nathan 540 and Matthew Jeffress, Brady and Robert Kelly 538. The ladies high game went to Angela Francis 214 & 205, Debbie van der Meer 185, Ros Kirkland 172, Maria Scheers 168, Julie Strickland 166, Ros again 165, Marianne Keith and Leanne Gray 159 and Maxine Jones and Pam Russell 158. The series went to Angela 569, followed by Ros 477, Debbie 464, Pam 447, Maxine 442, Marianne 434, Jane Austin 421 and reserve Abigail Keith-Wheatley 419.

Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs beat 5th place Lidcombe Grimreapers 15-4 but had their lead to 27½ points as Wetherill Park All Stars won 18-1. Strathfield Saints scored 13½ but remain 32½ points behind 2nd and Wetherill Park Rangers lost 15-4 to Strathfield Dragons and are now 33½ points behind Saints in 4th place as the top four are separated by almost 100 points. Other winners were Bateau Bay Buddhas 15, Strathfield Dragons 15, Bowlarama Mixed Bag 12 and Mittagong Highlanders 11. The high game went to All Stars 923, Chiefs 895 and Dragons 880. The series went to All Stars 2658, Chiefs 2623 and Dragons 2502.
