Division 1 Week 6 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 5 March

The division bowled 4 pins under average with 33 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Alex Sole 267, Lachlan Gurney and Shane Brown 235, Brad Searle 234, Steve Hawes 226, Josh Vanderkolk 225, Steve again 224, Kim Morris 222 and Chris Bateup 221. The series went to Alex 673, Steve 652, Josh 632, Chris 595, Shane 589, Alan Shephard 584, Lachlan 577 and Brad 563. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 246, Janelle Crass 232, Lisa Love and Amy Brown 201, Kayleen Watts 200, Lisa again 198, Kayleen again 195, Trudy Gould and Janelle again 193, Jodie Terry and Amy again 190 and Meg Abdilla 189. Leaders Strathfield Sandbaggers won 13-6 and extended their lead to 5½ points as 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns won their game 12-7 against 2nd place Campbelltown Rebels pushing them down to 4th. Campbelltown Cougars jumped into 3rd spot scoring 13½ points while Fairfield Bruises moved up 1 to 5th spot scoring 14½ on the bye. Wetherill Park Bandits scored 14, Lidcombe Lightning 12 and Lid combe rumble 10 to close out the round. The high game went to Guns 1002, Bruises 967 and Lidcombe Lightning 961. The series went to Guns 2809, Bruises 2756 and Cougars 2717.

Division 2 Week 5 – Gosford – 5 March

The division bowled 14 pins under average with 7 200 games. The high game went to Ray Vandine 234, Ecky Liem 222, Ray Dillon 218, Jared Kirkland 209, Dean Harris 201 and 200, Les Dunn and Ray Dillon again 199 and Colin Kendall 197. The series went to Ray Dillon 596, followed by Ray Vandine 585, Ecky 575, Dean 563, Ray Ahn 542, Les 541, Joe Wrublewski 538. Jared 535, David Collins 523 and Graeme Pulbrook 521. The ladies high game went to Carol Stenstra with 202 and 183, then Melissa Webb 176, Sandra Burchall 170, Kay Ginger 168, Melissa again 167, Merle Turner 164, Leonie 162, Rebeccanne Farr 161 and Kyoung Hwa Kim 158. Leaders Windsor Wanderers extend their lead to 8 points winning 15-4 while 2nd place Gosford Grenades 11-8 to Strathfield Superstrikers but held onto 2nd by 1 point. 3rd place Lidcombe Lyrebirds lost 11-8 to Bowlarama Alleycatz and dropped to 4th as Windsor Rockets moved into 3rd spot by ½ point despite losing 10-9 to Wetherill Park Rangers. Strathfield Sharks won 12-7 while Campbelltown and Tenpin City Bandits drew their match. The high game went to Alleycatz 904, followed by Alleygators 875 and Sharks 859. The series went to Alleycatz 2465, followed by Alleygators 2422 and Rockets 2405.

Division 3 Week 5 – Gosford – 5 March

The division bowled 1 pins over average at Gosford with 13 200 games. The high game went to Nathan Bracey 219, Calvin Thompson 218, reserve Matt W Smith 215, Matt Burchell and Brad Cook 212, Bob Quinn 208, Vince Granturco 206, reserve Daniel Prince 204, Possum O’Brien 202, Phil Spender 20 1 and Matt W again 200. Leaders Gosford Giants won 10-9 but had their lead cut to 1 point as 2nd place Lidcombe Hells Angels also won 10-9 but Strathfield Saints moved from 4th up to 2nd above Hells Angels beating 3rd place Bowlarama Lollipops 12-7. The top 6 teams are all within 8 points. Windsor Bushrangers won 13-6 and Wetherill Park All Stars won 10-9. The high game went to Campbelltown Strikers 886, followed by Giants 861 and Hells Angels 843. The series went to All Stars 2398, followed by Saints 2385 and Liverpool Lions 2377
