Division 1 Week 10 – Tenpin City – 9 April

The division bowled 5 pins over average at Tenpin City with 55 200 games and 12 600 series. The high game went to Tony Zumbo 258, followed by Alan Shephard and Chris Bedwell 246, Alex Sole 245, Darren Topolski 244 and Adam Spicer 242. The series went to Alex 691, Rodney Kitley 676, Tony 655, Chris 651, Shane Bond 648, Alan 637, reserve Neil Mills 636, Andrew Parker 634 and Chris Greaves 633. The ladies high game went to Janelle Crass 257, followed by Sarah Heath 253, Trudy Gould 223, Janelle again 213, Jodie Terry 198, Amy Brown and Evey O’Donnell 197, Tarni-Lee Thomson 196 and Lisa Love an d Leigh Shephard 195. Leaders Wetherill Park Guns played 4th place Campbelltown Cougars and lost 12½ - 6½ but remained on top by 17 points as 2nd place Strathfield Sandbaggers lost 13-6 to 3rd place Wetherill Park Bandits and dropped to 5th as Bandits moved into 2nd spot. Mittagong Reapers scored 17 on the bye to move up to 4th spot while other winners were Lidcombe Lightning 16, Bowlarama Hotshots 14 and Campbelltown Rebels and Wetherill Park Bandits both with 11 points. The high game went to Lightning 1048, Hotshots 1032 and Cougars 1006. The series went to Cougars 2977, Hotshots 2935 and Lightning 2930.

Division 2 Week 9 – Windsor – 9 April

The division bowled 2 pins under average at Windsor with 24 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Garry Graham with a new high for the season of 297, followed by Garry again and Dave Stenstra 247, Ewan Thomas 234, Derek Kellard 232, Dave again 235, Ray Vandine 224, Dean Harris 221, Harry Collins 220 and Les Dunn 218. The series went to Garry with another new season high of 718, followed by Dave 672, Derek 645, Ray 630, Dean 599, Ewan 590, Jared Kirkland 583, Mark Foster and Dave Anderson 580, Les 573 and Nicholas Liem 572. The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey 211 and 182, Maria Wrublewski 181, Wendy Kennedy 179, reserve Dallas Archer 177, Melissa Webb 176, Rachel Kim 175, Leonie Ince 170 and Sheree Kellard and Rachel again 168. Leaders Lidcombe Lyrebirds scored 11½ points and extended their lead to 7½ as 2nd place Windsor Wanderers won 10-9 and 4th place Campbelltown Alleygators scored 13 to join Wand erers in 2nd place. 3rd place Bowlarama Alleycatz drew with 5th place Strathfield Sharks and dropped to 4th spot. Western Warriors scored 13 and Wetherill Park Rangers 12 to close out the round. The high game went to Warriors 1006, Tenpin City Slickers 967 and Lyrebirds 952. The series went to Warriors 2747, Lyrebirds 2675 and Slickers 2674.

Division 3 Week 9 – Wetherill Park – 9 April.

The division bowled 12 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 20 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to reserve Daniel Prince with 259, followed by Nathan Bracey 256, Les Kirkland 246, Nathan again 232, William Scheers 226, Matt Burchell, Mark Ellison and Kyle Keith-Wheatley all 224 and Chris Prince 215. The series went to Nathan 664, Daniel 632, Les 601, Phil Spender 587, Tony Sutton 584, Kyle 580, Brad Cook 579, William 576 and Mark 562. The ladies high game went to Debbie van der Meer 212, Kerry Horvat 210, Debbie again 204, Maxine Jones 203, Lorraine Hazelwood 194, Angela Francis 187, Shelly Cox 185, Marianne Keith 179 and Angela again 178. Leaders Bowlarama Lollipops scored 14½ points and extended their lead by ½ point as 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars lost 14-5 to Campbelltown Strikers and dropped to 5th spot. Equal 3rd place Strathfield Saints scored 14½ and moved into 2nd spot while Fairfield Dragons scored 11 and remained in 3rd. Gosford Giants won 12-7 to move up to 4th spot while Windsor Bushrangers scored 17 on the bye. The high game went to Saints 943, Lollipops 915 and Strikers 891. The series went to Lollipops 2644, Saints 2629 and Strikers 2548.
