Division 1 Week 28 – Windsor – 27 August
The division bowled 2 pins under average at Windsor with 40 200 games and 8 600 series. The high game went to Shane Bond 266, followed by Kim Morris and Mark Ward with 247, reserve Eric Boykett 241, Chris Greaves 237 and 234, Kristain Asquith 233, Alan Shephard 232, Shane Brown and Mark again 226 and Alan again and Shane Bond again 224. The series went to Mark 678, Alan 671, Kristain 666, Chris 652, Shane Bond 645, Kim 638, Eric 624, reserve Vince Romeo 620, Jason Raftry 590 and Jim Vlahos 584. Leaders Strathfield Sandbaggers extended their lead to 5½ points winning 16-3 while 2nd place Wetherill Park Guns won 11-8 and 3rd place Campbelltown Cougars scored 11½ points to be just 1 pin behind them. 4th place Lidcombe Lightning won 11-8 but were overtaken by Wetherill Park Bandits who won 15-4 and head that team by 1½ points. Mittagong Reapers won 10-9 while Bowlarama Hotshots scored 13 on the bye. The high game went to Sandbaggers 1006, followed b y Lidcombe Rumble 991 and Lightning 985. The series went to Sandbaggers 2829, followed by Lightning 2810 and Rumble 2751.
Division 2 Week 24 – Tenpin City – 27 August
The division bowled ½ pin under average at Tenpin City with 32 200 games and 6 600 series. The high game went to Wolf Miller 248, followed by Dave Anderson 242, Allan Taylor 234, Jared Kirkland 233, Mark Foster 231, Wolf again 228, Allan again 226, Ray Vandine 225, Graeme Pulbrook 224, Ray Dillon 222 and Michael Campbell 221. In the positional round leaders Bowlarama Alleycatz won 10-9 against 2nd place Windsor Wanderers who held onto 2nd spot by ½ point as 4th place Lidcombe Lyrebirds won 11 ½ - 7 ½ against 3rd place Campbelltown Alleygators and overtook them to be 2 points above them in the table. Western Warriors held onto 5th spot despite losing 15-4 to Strathfield Superstrikers, while Strathfield Sharks won 13-6, Tenpin City Slickers 14-5 and Wetherill Park Rangers 15-4. The high game went to Slickers 950, followed by Superstrikers 930 and Rangers 914. The series went to Slickers 2762, followed by Superstrikers 2695 and Lyrebirds 2631.
Division 3 Week 24 – Tenpin City – 27 August
The division bowled 2 pins over average at Tenpin City with 14 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Chris Prince 246, followed by Tony Sutton 236, Nick Frost 223 and 222, Phil Spender 222, Possum O’Brien 216, Bob Quinn 214, reserve Josh Pinney 210, Nathan Bracey 205 and Chris again and Matthew Morris 204. The ladies high game went to Maxine Jones 200, Ros Kirkland 197, Lorraine Hazelwood 190 and 188, Kerry Woodberry 186, Maxine again 181, reserve Louise Kelly 180, Ros again 178 and Marianne Keith 177. In the positional round, leaders Bowlarama Lollipops played Strathfield Saints and hung on to the top spot by 1 pin despite losing 13-6, while 3rd place Wetherill Park All Stars beat Fairfield Dragons 15-4 to move closer to the top two. Lidcombe Hells Angels won 12½ - 6½, Campbelltown Strikers 11-8, Windsor Wonders 10-9 and Lidcombe Hot to Trot Tigers scored 16 on the bye, all teams staying in the same positions. The high game went to Saints 936, All Stars 913 and Dragons 883. The series went to All Stars 2701, Saints 2504 and Hells Angels 2466.
