Division 1 Week 38 – Tenpin City – 12 Nov

The division bowled 6 pins over average at Tenpin City with 61 200 games and 19 600 series. The high game went to Shane Bond 289, followed by Chris Greaves 278, Dean Ainsworth 268, Kim Morris and Garry Ridgeway 255, John Raftry 254, Alex Sole 250 and Chris Bateup and Kristain Asquith 248. The series went to Garry 694, Alex 670, Chris Bateup 662, Shane 657, Andrew Parker and John 652, Kristain 649, Chris Greaves and Peter Adams 641 and Glenn Rowland 640. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 268, followed by Janice Edwards 246, Trudy Gould 225, Ros Dowton, Janelle Crass and Helen Cios 214, Leigh Shephard 207, Meg Abdilla 205 and Meaghan Curtis, Sarah again and Helen again 202. The series went to Sarah 650, Helen 598, Janice 593, Amy Brown 581, Trudy 576, Meg 575, Leigh 555, Ros 540 and Janelle 530.

Leaders Strathfield Sandbaggers won 11-8 but had their lead cut to 5 points as Campbelltown Cougars won 13-6. 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns are just 4 points behind them winning 12-7 against 4th place Lidcombe Lightning. Mittagong Reapers won 15-4, while Fairfield Bruises also won 15-4, Campbelltown Rebels won 13½ points and Wetherill Pak Bandits scored 9 on the bye. Bandits also scored 13 ½ points on the post bowl on Sunday morning to retain 5th spot just 2 points behind 4th. The high game went to Cougars 1030 and 1000, followed by Wetherill Park Phoenix 1026, Strathfield Sandbaggers 1024 and 1013 and Wetherill Park Guns 1016. The series went to Sandbaggers 2954, followed by Bruises 2946 and P hoenix 2883.

Division 2 Week 34 – Wetherill Park – 12 Nov

The division bowled 8½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 42 200 games and 10 600 series. The high game went to Dave Stenstra 279, Ewan Thomas 276, Michael Burrows 269, Jared Kirkland 248, Ewan again 247, Robert Ward 244, Michail Wrublewski 235, Nicholas Liem 232 and Dave Anderson and Rob Mitreski 231. The series went to Ewan 732, followed by Michael 709, who played Ewan and only scored 1 point! They were followed by Rob Mitreski 677, Dave Stenstra 659, reserve Neil Mills 642, Dave Anderson 628, Harry Collins 613 and Michail and Robert Ward 612. The high female score setting a new high for the year was Rebeccanne Farr with a personal best 241 followed by 232 and 227. Carol Stenstra 223, Rebecca Taduran 192, Madison McCooey 188, Melissa Webb 187, Kay Ginger 181, Leonie Ince and Rebecca again 180, Merle Turner 179 and reserve Nicky Foster 178. The high series and a new record for Division 2, went to Rebeccanne with 700, followed by Rebecca 542, Carol 538, Kay 507, Madison 501, Leonie 493, Nicky 489, Melissa 450, Marilyn Wentworth-Perry 440 and Merle 437.

Leaders Windsor Wanderers lost 13-6 to 4th place Lidcombe Lyrebirds, but hang onto top spot as Campbelltown Alleygators closed the gap to 2½ points winning 10-9. 3rd place Bowlarama Alleycatz moved closer to both team winning 14-5 and are just 1 ½ points behind 2nd. Windsor Rockets won 13-6, Western Warriors 12-7 and Tenpin City Bandits 10-9. The high game went to Alleycatz 997, Lyrebirds 970 and Warriors 967. The series went to Alleycatz 2897, Warriors 2819 and Rockets 2743.

Division 3 Week 34 – Strathfield Superbowl – 12 Nov

The division bowled 10 pins under average at Strathfield with 6 200 games. The high game went to Brad Cook 235, William Scheers 211, Bob Quinn, Tony Sutton and Mark Ellison 204, Chris Prince 203, reserve Josh Pinney 199, Bob ag ain 198 and Robert Kelly 196. The series went to Brad 562, Bob 549, Chris 548, Mark 546, Josh 525, William and Robert 522, Matt Jeffress 517, Matt Burchell 513 and Bruce Worrell 503. The ladies high game went to Tracy Hodgson 186, Marianne Keith 183, Abigail Keith Wheatley 179, Lorraine Hazelwood 177, Maxine Jones 175, Marianne again 172, Maxine again 168, Debbie van der Meer 165, reserve Louise Kelly 160 and Ros Kirkland and Kerry Horvat 159. Leaders Wetherill Park All Stars extended their lead to 12 points winning 15-4 as 2nd place Strathfield Saints won 11-8. 3rd place Bowlarama Lollipops lost 13-6 to 5th place Gosford Giants while 4th place Fairfield Dragons won 11-8. Windsor Wonders won 16-3 and Lidcombe Hells Angels scored 4 on the bye. The high game went to Lollipops 858, Campbelltown Strikers 855 and All Stars 836. The series went to Giants 2421, All Stars 2394 and Lollipops 2362.
