Div 1 Week 4 – Tenpin City – 2 March
The division bowled a fraction below average at Tenpin City with 18 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Amy Martin 239, followed by Rebeccanne Farr 213, Debbie van der Meer 203, Amy Brown 197, Leonie Ince 189, Melinda Murphy 183, Jodie Terry 182, Melissa Webb 181, Amy Brown again 179 and Margaret Abdilla and Amy Martin again 178. Leaders Bowlarama Gorillas extended their lead to 4 points winning 14½ - 4½ while 2nd place Tenpin City Dark Knights won 11-8. 3rd place Fairfield Underdogs lost 13-6 to 4th place Bowlarama Blackjacks and dropped to equal 4th as Blackjacks moved into 3rd place. Wetherill Park Guns moved up to equal 4th despite losing 10-9 to Gosford Grenades while Strathfield 5 of a Kind won 11-8 and Campbelltown City Chihuahuas scored 8½ on the bye. The high game went to Blackjacks 936, Gorillas 907 and 5 of a Kind 890. The series went to Blackjacks 2717, Gorillas 2682 and 5 of a Kind 2594.
Div 2 Week 4 – Strathfield Superbowl – 2 March
The division bowled 4 pins under average at Strathfield with 14 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Robert Ciacciarelli 257, followed by Mark Foster 229, Nathan Bracey and Rohan Burchall 217, Nick Frost 216, Harry Collins 215, Jim Pavlic 211, Matt Burchell 208 and Bob Cohen 207. The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey 237, Marianne Keith 211, Madison again 201, Kathy Compton and Jasmine Hall 182, Kay Ginger 181, Maria Wrublewski and Jasmine again 180, Angela Francis 178 and Kathy again 175. The joint leaders played each other with Rooty Hill Rhinos winning 12-7 over Western Force, but Rhinos dropped to 3rd while Force dropped to 6th spot. 3rd place Strathfield Vikings won 15-4 to move into the top spot, one point ahead of Lidcombe Lynx who won 17-2. Rooty Hill Strikers remained in 4th spot winning 13-6, while Bowlarama Alleycatz moved up to 5th spot also winning 13-6. Rooty Hill Pikachoos moved into equal 6th spot winning 14-5, while Campbelltown City Sixers won 13½ - 5½ and Strathfield Sharks recorded the biggest win with 18-1. The top seven teams are separated by seven points. The high game went to Lynx 916, Rhinos 881 and Sharks 858. The series also went to Lynx 2647, Rhinos 2547 and Sharks 2537.
