Div 1 Week 21 – 7-10 Split Fairfield – 27 July
The division bowled 15 pins under average at Fairfield on a challenging sports pattern, with 11 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Garry Ridgeway 221, Jared Kirkland 218, Garry again 213, Adam Burrows 212, and 211, John Napper 205, Greg Farraway and Peter Prince 202 and Phil Spender 200. The series went to Garry 606, Adam 579, Jared 578, Neil Taylor 533, Wolf Miller 525, Peter 523, George Antaky 515, Greg Farraway 511 and Robert Ellison 507. Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 12-7 and extended their lead to 16½ points as 2nd place Tenpin City Dark Knights lost 10-9 to 4th place Bowlarama Gorillas while 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns scored 14 on the bye. Gosford Grenades won 10-9, Rooty Hill Rogues won 15-4 and Campbelltown City Chihuahuas won 12-7. The high game went to Rogues 878, Guns 860 and Chihuahuas 829. The series went to Rogues 2525, Guns 2504 and Blackjacks 2443.
Div 2 Week 23 – Zone Bowling Rooty Hill – 27 July
The division bowled 1½ pins over average at Rooty Hill with 19 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Chris Prince 257, Derek Kellard 255, Chris again 236, Rob Ciacciarelli 232, John Barrett and Chris again 226, David Collins 217, John again 214, Michael Pipe 213 and Nick Frost 212. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos lost 11-8 to 3rd place Campbelltown Sixers. Rhinos lead was cut to 21 ½ points as Bowlarama Alleycatz won 11-8, while Sixers dropped to 4th spot as Strathfield Vikings won 15-4 to move up to 3rd spot 1½ points behind Alleycatz and 1½ points in front of Sixers. 5th place Lidcombe Lynx won 16-3 to move with 1½ points of 4th spot with Strathfield Sharks winning 15½ - 3½ to be just 3 points beh ind Lynx. Rooty Hill Strikers won 13½ - 5½ to be 3 points behind Sharks with 6 teams separated by 10½ points. Western Force won 11-8, and Rooty Hill Pikachoos won 12½ - 6½. The high game went to Vikings 911, Sixers 903 and Wetherill Park Cobras 899. The series went to Vikings 2614, Alleycatz 2603 and Strikers 2544.
