Div 1 Week 25 – Wetherill Park – 24 August

The division bowled 6½ pins over average at Wetherill Park, with 31 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Travis Kennedy 257, Rodney Kitley 242, Garry Graham and Allan Taylor 233, Phil Meurant 232, Adam Burrows 230, Rodney again 225, Adam again 223 and Rodney again and Neil Taylor both on 221. The series went to Rodney 688, Adam 650, Phil 641, Rob Mitreski 631, Brett Foster 603, David Chi 596, Garry 589, Allan 585, reserve Jamie Carroll 583 and Bob Quinn 573. The ladies high game went to Sandra Stanshall 236, Margaret Abdilla 224 and 203, Amy Brown with a pair of 199’s, Helen Cios 193, Amy again 191, Rebeccanne Farr 190, Amy Martin 189 and Melissa Webb 188. The series went to Amy Brown 589, Margaret 566, Melissa 538, Sandra 536, Hayley van Bueren 519, Helen again 513, Amy Martin 511, Jodie Terry 509, Janice Edwards 507 and Abigail Keith-Wheatley 494.

Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 11-8 but had their lead cut to 14½ as 2nd place Tenpin City Dark Knights won 13-6 against 4th place Rooty Hill Rogues pushing them down to 6th spot. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas won 13-6 while Fairfield Odd Bodz scored 15 on the bye to claim 4th spot and Wetherill Park Guns won 15½ - 3½ to claim 5th spot. Strathfield 5 of a Kind won 11-8. The high game went to Gorillas 1016, Blackjacks 984 and Dark Knights 963. The series went to Dark Knights 2838, Gorillas 2809 and Guns 2694.

Div 2 Week 26 – Tenpin City – 24 August

The division bowled 3 pins under average at Tenpin City with 13 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to reserve Manny Bugay with an impressive 299, followed by Nadim El Haddad 245, Harry Collins 219, Mark Foster 217, Graeme Pulbrook 212, Kyle Keith-Wheatley 209, Glenn Luxford 203, Nick Frost 201 and Bob Cohen with a pair of 200’s. The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey 237, followed by Kathy Compton 224, Madison again 221, Marianne Keith 199, Ancita Levy 195, Ros Kirkland 189, reserve Lisa Love 188, Madison again 180 and Christine Pulbrook and Natasha Bracey 177. The series was shared by Manny and Madison with 638 each, followed by for the men, Bob 589, Kyle 569, Derek Kellard 562, Harry and Mark 557, Nadim 553, Nick 548 and Ray Dillon 532. For the ladies, Madison was followed by Kathy 559, Ros Dowton 494, Ros Kirkland 487, Ancita 484, Kay Ginger 481, Marianne 480, Maria Wrublewski and Christine 476 and Sandra Burchall and Rose Lucas 472.

Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos extended their lead to 32½ points winning 16-3, while 2nd place Lidcombe Lynx beat 3rd place Strathfield Vikings 11½ - 7½ pushing them down to 4th spot as Bowlarama Alleycatz claimed 3rd winning 11-8. 5th place Rooty Hill Strikers won 11-8 against 6th place Strathfield Sharks as Campbelltown City Sixers claimed 6th spot by ½ point despite losing 10-9 to Western Force. From 2nd to 7th there is a gap of 13½ points. Wetherill Park Rebels won 13-6, Rooty Hill Explosion won 17-2 and Wetherill Park Cobras won 10-9. The high game went to Rhinos 983, Sixers 905 and Rebels 904. The series went to Rhinos 2608, Force 2513 and Rebels 2499.
