Division 1

Week 2 - Gosford City Bowl

The division bowled 3 pins over average at Gosford with 26 200 games, 1 700 series and 4 600 series. The high game went to Ray Vandine 288, setting a new high score for 2023, followed by Chris Prince 256, reserve Phil Meurant and Harry Collins 244, Ray again 237, Dave Stenstra 226, Robert Quinn 225, Jared Kirkland 221, Chris again 219 and Phil again 215. The series went to Ray 726, Chris 685, Phil 665, Jared 633, Dave 621, Harry 590, Rohan Burchall 577, Robert 550, Brad Cook 547 and Michael Campbell 542. The ladies high game went to Marianne Keith 214, Melissa Webb 204, Helen Cios 203, Theresa Boyle 194, Helen again 192, Carol Stenstra 191, Angela Francis 188, reserve Meaghan Curtis 181 and Wendy Kennedy and Debbie van der Meer 178 each. The high series went to Helen 566, Melissa 540, Marianne 530 , Angela 513, Meaghan 511, Sandra Burchall 496, Tracy Hodgson 494, Kay Ginger 490, Cindy Bonaccorso 485 and Debbie 481. Windsor Roos who did not play last week won 14-3 against last week’s leaders Tenpin City Psychos and took the lead on win percentage while Psychos dropped to 5th. 2nd place Bowlarama Burners maintained their spot winning 13½ - 3½ over 3rd place Wetherill Park 5 of a Kind, pushing them down to 8th. Gosford Grenades, also not playing last week moved into 3rd spot with an 11-6 win. Strathfield Mis-Splits won 11½ - 5½ while Campbelltown Pin Pals won 11-6 taking 6th spot and Campbelltown Odd Bodz won 10-7, taking 4th spot. The high game went to Burners 799 setting a new high for 2023, Roos 791 and Windsor Wreckers 746. The series went to Roos 2253, also a new high for the year, Burners 2226 and Pin Pals 2112.


Division 2

Week 2 - Tenpin City Lidcombe

The division bowled 2 pins over average at Tenpin City with 9 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Allan Taylor 241, a new high game for the year, Alan Wilson 232, Rob Ciacciarelli 226, John Fox 224, Rob again 220, reserve Bob Cohen 216, Derek Kellard 214, William Greaves 211, Al Wilson again 200 and Matt Jeffress 199. The series went to Allan Taylor 636, also a new high for the year, followed by Rob 619, Alan Wilson 610, Bob 566, John 565, William 563, Derek 555, Matt 544, Robert Fox 513 and reserve Howie Goss 500. The ladies high game went to Nicole Wort 179, Elaine Llewelyn 178, Kerry Horvat 177, Sharon Murphy 174, Sandra Stanshall 171, Louise Morgan 170, Janice Edwards 163, Elaine again 162 and 160, and Melinda Murphy 160 also. The series went to Elaine 500, Louise 467, Sandra 464, Melinda 460, Kerry 459, Sharon 451, Nicole 426, Maxine Jones 425, Janice 419 and Sheree Kellard 400. Leaders Lidcombe Asylum won 11-6 against 4th place Wetherill Park Cobras but dropped to 3rd place as 2nd place Campbelltown City Chihuahuas won 13-4 to take 1st place and 3rd place Bowlarama Bandits won 15-2 to move into 2nd spot, ½ point behind Chihuahuas and ½ point ahead of Asylum. Windsor Pikers won 11-6 to move up to joint 4th place while Campbelltown Scorpions scored 11 on the bye and Bateau Bay Sandbaggers won 9-8. The high game went to Bandits 724 setting a new high for the year, followed by Asylum 675 and Sandbaggers 667. The series went to Bandits 1940, Chihuahuas 1918 and Asylum 1914.
