Week 17 - Windsor Ten Pin Bowl
The division bowled average at Windsor with 15 200 games, 1 700 series and 1 600 series. The high game went to Jared Kirkland 298, setting a new high game for the season, David Blevins 243, Chris Prince and Rob Balkin 225, Dave Stenstra 224, Peter Daly and Harry Collins 223, Rob Balkin 211, Jared again 210 and David Blevins again 209. The series went to Jared 707, David Blevins 616, Rob Balkin 598, Chris 586, Peter 572, Les Dunn 570, Dave Stenstra 566, Michael Campbell 555 and Rob Ellison 532. The ladies high game went to Debbie van der Meer 199, Cindy Bonaccorso 196, Marianne Keith 194, Debbie again 189, Wendy Kennedy 180, reserve Margaret Abdilla 172, Wendy again 171, Theresa Boyle 170, Ros Kirkland 168 and reserve Karen Daly 162. The series went to Debbie 546, Marianne 491, Wendy 488, Theresa 483, Jodie Terry 474, Margaret 456, Cindy 454, Helen Cios 438 and Ros 433.
This round ended up as a coincidental positional round with 1 v 2, 3 v 4, etc. Leaders Strathfield won 11-6 against 2nd place Windsor Roos to extend their lead to 7½ points. 3rd place Wetherill Park Wizards won 10-7 against 4th place Windsor Rattlers, but both teams dropped down by one position as Gosford Grenades won 14½ - 2½ to move up to 3rd place from 6th place. Bowlarama Dark Knights won 12-5 to complete the round. The high game went to Wizards 824, Grenades 809 and 782, Wizards with 756 and Dark Knights 754. The series went to Grenades 2326, Wizards 2207 and Rattlers 2035.

Week 17 - Gosford City Bowl
The division bowled 3 pins over average at Gosford with 11 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Glenn Luxford 234, Tony Sutton 217, Peter Prince 214, John Barrett 213, Tony again 212, Rob Ciacciarelli 204, William Scheers 203, Paul Gibs 202, Tony again 200, Mat Anderson 198 and Danny Hunter 192. The series went to Tony 629, Rob 571, Paul 564, John 558, Glenn 555, Danny 546, Peter 543, Wolf Miller 532, Derek Kellard 531 and Bill Greaves 523. The ladies high game went to reserve Hayley van Bueren *, 216, Kay Ginger 200 and 188, Natalie Hanna 182, Maxine Jones 177, Kay again 176, reserve Vicki Howe 175, Sandra Stanshall 173, Sandra Burchall 169 and Maxine again 168. The series went to Kay 564, setting a new high for the season, followed by Hayley 531, Maxine Jines 483, Sandra Burchall 481, Beryl Goggin 472, Zoe Bird 453, Sandra Stanshall 447, Natalie 441 and Vicki and Melinda Murphy 416.
Leaders Gosford Gremlins lost 13-4 to Campbelltown City Chihuahuas and dropped to 2nd place as 2nd place Windsor Whisperers scored 10½ on the bye to move up to top spot by 1 point. 3rd place Bateau Bay Battlers won 9-8 but dropped to 4th spot as Strathfield Stingers won 11½ - 5½ to move into 3rd spot 1 point above Battlers and ½ point below Gremlins. Wetherill Park Phoenix won 16-1 to move up from 6th place to 5th while Bowlarama Bandits won 13-4 to move from 9th to 7th. Windsor Jesters won 9-8 while Wetherill Park Cobras won 12-5. The top 10 are less than 20 points apart in this very close competition. The high game went to Windsor Mustangs 691, battlers 686 and Stingers 678. The series went to Battlers 1998, Mustangs 1996 and Stingers 1993.
*Hayley was playing her last game for a while as she is leaving the reserves list to have her baby. Best wishes to Hayley and her new bub and it hopefully will not be too long before we see them both back for a visit at bowl Sydney, we will all miss one of our favourite reserves Hayley and look forward to good news and a few baby pics to post and keep us updated for all your fans at Bowl Sydney.
