Week 30 - Windsor Ten Pin Bowl

The division bowled 3 pins over average at Windsor with 24 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Jared Kirkland 236, David Blevins 235, Jim Vlahos 225, Jared again 224, Garry Graham and reserve Peter McKenzie 223, David Chi 222 Robert Ellison 220, Brad Cook 219 and David Blevins again 218. The series went to David Blevins 653, Jared 652, Peter McKenzie and Peter Daly 617, Chris Prince 596, Garry 592, Brad 582, reserve David Knott 565, Jim 563 and Robert 562. The ladies high game went to reserve Jessica Chi 220, Rebbeccanne Farr 205, 203 and 191, Helen Cios 190, Debbie van der Meer 185, 180 and 179, Marianne Keith 174 and Helen again 168. The series went to Rebbeccanne 599, Debbie 544, Helen 515, Jessica 500, Carol Stenstra 469, Theresa Boyle 459, Melissa Webb 458, Wendy Kennedy 449 and Marianne 446.

Leaders Windsor Roos lost 13-4 to 2nd place Gosford Grenades in this last positional round before the final full round of games and had their lead cut to 1½ points. 3rd place Campbelltown Odd Bodz lost 13½ - 3½ to Strathfield Storm and dropped to equal 4th while Storm moved up into 3rd spot 21½ points behind 2nd. 5th place Wetherill Park Wizards won 14-3 and moved up to equal 4th while Bowlarama Dark Knights won 9-8 against Windsor Rattlers, who despite losing moved up to 6th spot from 7th. The high game went to Wizards 798, Storm 775 and Grenades 761. The series went to Wizards 2231, Storm 2215 and Grenades 2208.


Division 2

Week 30 - Bowlarama Wetherill Park

The division bowled 15½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 25 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game went to reserve Rolly Burchall 268 Wolf Miller and Alan Wilson 246, Peter Prince 245, Tony Sutton 244, reserve Phil Meurant and Tony again 238, Howie Goss 234, Ryan Twist 226 and Peter again and Al Wilson 222. The series went to Tony 673, Phil 666, Al 655, Howie 631, Ryan 628, Derek Kellard 625, Peter 617, Wolf 613, Rolly 612 and Paul Gibbs 565. The ladies high game went to Sandra Burchall 209, Kim Lewis 202, Louise Morgan 201, Kim again 197, reserve Tracy Hodgson 194, Fay Pipe 187, Sandra again 177, Hannah Bailey (personal best) and Elaine Llewelyn 174 and Kay Ginger 170. The series went to Kim Lewis 568, which is a high for the season, but unfortunately, she will not bowl enough games this year to complete 2/3 of the season and qualify for the award. Sandra 522, Fay 513, Debbie Liddell 494, Kay 492, Natalie Hanna 480, Sandra Stanshall 473, Kerry Horvat 467, Tracy 454 and Elaine 450.

Leaders Windsor Whisperers won 11-6 while 2nd place Gosford gremlins lost 13-4 to 4th place Strathfield Stingers and dropped to 4th place while Stingers moved up to 3rd spot. 5th place Campbelltown City Chihuahuas won 12-5 and moved up to 2nd spot 5½ points behind 1st. 5th place Bateau Bay Battlers won 11-6 while 7th place Bowlarama Bandits scored 17 on the bye and moved up to 6th spot. Wetherill Park Phoenix won 12-5 and moved up from equal 10th to 8th spot while Bateau Bay Bogans won 15-2 to move from 12th to 11th. Gosford Scorpions won 9-8. The high game went to Chihuahuas 804 setting a new high for the season, Bogans 775 and Bandits 749. The series was shared by Bogans and Chihuahuas with 2179, also setting a new high series jointly with Bandits bowling 2139.
